2020 - Wandsworth Arts & Culture Strategy, Manager

In 2020 I was invited by Wandsworth Council's Arts Service to join the team to research, develop and produce their ten year Arts and Culture Strategy. For the consultation period I worked with Hybrid Consulting and Elizabeth Lynch to host a series of workshops (over zoom) that were live minuted by RCA students.
Alongside this project I took on the management of the Wandsworth Artist Open House project that, due to COVID-19, could not take place in 2020. As a result I launched a new digital platform called Wandsworth Art that hosts information about the Arts and Culture Strategy as well as profiles of artists who live and work in the borough, as well as showcasing the existing arts offer of organisations, groups and projects. I commissioned launch content from the RCA, Bounce Theatre, and curated content from artists: Kay Rufai, Alice Wilson, Susannah Nathanson, Raksha Patel, Olivia Twist and NEON.
I also led on the launch of a programme called Framed:, a project where local artists are exhibited in their neighbourhoods on high street shop windows and on lamppost banners. A key project in Framed was #BrightBattersea, a series of artworks by Hannah Coulson that was commissioned for exhibition along the oldest high street in Wandsworth, Battersea High Street.
