In Spring 2020 I was invited by Coventry UK City of Culture Trust to write a feasibility study about a shop window project in Coventry city centre as part of the City of Culture programme in 2021.
I invited Hybrid Consulting to help with benchmarking and pre-thinking of evaluation methods, Quiet Down There who engaged directly with shop owners, and Ryan Hart and William Hughes, students at Coventry Uni, to help with creating visual decks of potential artists and locations. In addition I was supported by Cara Pickering, a Coventry Trust Project Manager.
This process has led to a series of pilot window installation for the city centre's 2020 Christmas celebrations featuring original artwork illustrations by Ana Jaks of the #OurCovHeroes campaign. The top 5 heroes were illustrated by Ana and exhibited around Coventry city centre in shop windows alongside the below artwork by Ana of the best of festive Coventry.
